So my first real post on SoMany-Roads. Over the past decade my family and I have traveled many roads in the United States. We have family in all parts of the United States and some living overseas (currently: Germany and Japan). We are a family of four so we can not fly as much as we would like, so we ROAD TRIP. We have driven from the middle of the country to the East coast countless times (NY, RI, MA, NH, MD, NC, SC, FL, GA, DE, NJ, PA, CT). We have spent many nights in "mid-west" (OH, WV, KY, TN, IA, IN, MO, AR). Spent time on the gulf coast (FL,AL, MS, LA). Spent time in the Lone Star state. Driven across the Rio Grande in New Mexico. Climbed many peaks in Colorado. Driven quickly out of Kansas. Spent time with Bruce and Jason Lee in Seattle. And explored the vistas of Yosemite.
My wife and I traveled to England and Ireland for our honeymoon back in 2002. We landed and explore London and Liverpool for a few days but spent most of the 6 weeks backpacking around Ireland.
I have been fortunate the past few years to travel to Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay with the Rotarians. I spent four weeks traveling in the state of Santa Catrina, Brazil. I visited close to 40 cities and villages while learning the Goucho customs. Paraguay was an interesting place and the border patrol guards are not so nice. Argentina was mind-blowing and I want to go back.
